Guy Maskall, Ph.D., is a Senior AI Consultant at 38 Labs with over 20 years of experience in AI, data science, and remote sensing. He has led data science teams working with hyperspectral and geospatial data, developing novel algorithms as well as productionizing prototypes in application areas such as forestry management, water management, crop mapping, and land-use/land-cover change.

A recipient of the Royal Academy of Engineering's MacRobert Award for his work on data processing and machine learning for liquid explosive detection systems, Guy is an Amazon Approved Instructor (Champion) with multiple AWS certifications. His expertise spans AI-driven solutions, data engineering, and leadership mentoring, making him a key contributor to technical and consulting initiatives.

Guy holds a BSc in Physics from Imperial College, MSc in Space Science from UCL, and a PhD from Birmingham.
